Why Laughter?
Laughter is the "Best Medicine."
Grandmothers
have always known: LAUGHTER is the BEST MEDICINE. Humor and
laughter make a significant contribution to both your physical and mental
health. Learning to adopt a lighter attitude and how to see the funny side
of everyday situations gives you resilience.
Laughter Therapy is our portal for emotional balancing and achieving inner
and outer peace. It is essential for creating a sense of well-being.
Laughter has the ability to improve our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and
social health and strengthen our immune system. It is also a way to
bring together the mind, body & spirit in perfect harmony. It is one
of our innate tools for self-healing.
Facilitated laughter brings about
different experiences. There is laughter that can be meditative and can
bring a sense of calm and peacefulness, giving us a fuller sense of self worth
and belongingness. We can optimize our health with
laughter, build our self esteem, build confidence, relieve stress, energize our
senses.
The benefits are enormous and realized dimensionally.
Even our hearts are healed with joy!
What
is a Laughter Club?
A
Laughter Club
is a group that meets regularly to consciously engage in the process of
laughter. A Laughter Club is facilitated by a Certified Laughter
Leader or Leaders. A Certified Laughter Leader organizes the group and
demonstrates step by step strategies for using laughter to bring significant
change. The Certified Laughter Leader demonstrates and models the various programs
developed by Steve Wilson, Psychologist and founder of the World Laughing Tour,
for optimizing the benefits of laughing.
During
a Laughter Club, you are encouraged to be playful, have fun, and to allow your
innate ability to heal the soul, the opportunity to balance your mental &
emotional processes toward self healing while you effortlessly improve your overall well being
and increase the depth and
connectedness of the social group.
